I remember learning how to fold a fitted sheet the summer of junior high by watching an episode of Martha Stewart. I remember being super excited about it and couldn't wait until my mom came home from work so I could show her. It was always a challenge for us to fold those fitted sheets every time we did laundry. The best way was to
just roll them up into a neat ball and stack them in the linen closet. :) Thanks to Martha, our linen closet always looked neat since then.
Here is how to conquer the fitted sheet.
Step 1: Slip your hands in the pockets of the longest side of the sheet matching the inside seam together. Do this to all four corners until you end up with two corners at the top and a fold at the bottom. The sheet should be inside out while you get corners together.
Step 3: Fold the sheet in half horizontally twice. So you end up with this.
Step 4: Now fold the sheet in half vertically. So you end up with this.
Step 5: Fold the sheet again vertically up to the center of sheet. So you end up with this.
Step 6: Fold again vertically and you got yourself a neatly folded fitted sheet that will look a lot like a flat sheet, so make sure to keep them separated in your linen closet so you don't get the two mixed up.
Hope this helps keeps your linen closet looking neat.
