Fit 4 You

The weather is getting warmer and it'll be Summer before we know it. This is usually the time everyone wants to get in shape. It's so easy to say it but let's face it, so hard to do. Especially if you haven't been staying active. I'm going to be honest. During the colder weather I love indulging in comfort food and I hardly do any physical activity except clean my house and play with my kids. It's just too cold to move!! :) and blankets and sweaters are just too comfy to run or sweat in, so I prefer not to do those things. But those sweaters and blankets are now put away and the sun is shinning and it's finally warm. We all know, working out is a must. And you know I'm a fan of my own little workouts here and there.  A quick set of crunches and squats wherever I'm able to fit it in. Even if it's while cooking dinner. I'm notorious for doing 100 jumping jacks while waiting for the pasta water to boil and doing squats as I blow dry my hair. ;) anything to get that heart rate  pumping and feel a burn.
It's hard to get the motivation to make time for traditional workouts, but once you have that motivation and start working out it makes you feel so good and you MAKE time for it. Summer is a great motivation, but friends are another. I have been blessed to meet great people in my life. And a very good friend introduced me to this awesome Facebook page that I follow on a regular. It's  called Fit 4 You by Ewanda Thompson. It is full of inspirational posts and easy steps to take, to better your body and lifestyle. There are videos posted constantly of workouts that are easy to follow but still challenging enough to feel that burn and see results. I've learned so many great workouts from watching these videos and I am able to do them all at home and they don't even take that long. It's an amazing tool that gives me the motivation to keep up with my workouts. And the members are just as motivating. It's always nice when you meet people who you can relate to and who share the same goals. It's a great page and I hope my readers will check it out and maybe gain some motivation as well. Wishing everyone motivation to better their body and lifestyle.
